Virgin Mobile USA To Start Throttling Data Speeds in October

Virgin Mobile USA has announced that beginning in October that it will start throttling data throughput to 256 kbps or less for users who exceed 2.5 GB of usage before the end of their billing cycle. The data speed will be reset at the beginning of the next billing cycle.

Virgin Mobile USA claims that 97% of its user base will not experience this.
